Public Transit Salt Spring Island Public transit routes are linked to Saltspring island ferry terminals, the centrally located town of Ganges and community facilities. BC Transit drivers will pick-up and drop-off passengers anywhere along the route. In summer months there is a public transit bus to Ruckle Provincial Park which passes right by the Saltspring Yurt. Cycling Cycling is a popular mode of travel and a great way to savour the natural beauty of Saltspring Island. Cyclists should be prepared with the right gear and lots of water. BE aware, that there are few shoulders on any roads and many steep hills. Everything you need to know about Salt Spring cycling can be found at Island Pathways a local non-profit. It is only a 4k ride to The Saltspring Yurt from the Fulford ferry. Public transit buses may accommodate bicycles on their front rack. |
