Salt Spring Island Public transit routes are linked to Saltspring island ferry terminals, the centrally located town of Ganges and community facilities. BC Transit drivers will pick-up and drop-off passengers anywhere along the route. In summer months there is a public transit bus to Ruckle Provincial Park which passes right by the Saltspring Yurt.

Cycling is a popular mode of travel and a great way to savour the natural beauty of Saltspring Island. Cyclists should be prepared with the right gear and lots of water. It is only a 4k ride to The Saltspring Yurt from the Fulford ferry. Public transit buses may accommodate bicycles on their front rack.
